HD Mining paused Construction activities and returned to Care and Maintenance effective July 18, 2025.​

In May 2025, HD Mining made the decision to pause Construction activities and return the site to Care and Maintenance effective July 18, 2025.  

 

While in Care and Maintenance, HD Mining will continue to maintain safety and security of the site, and fulfill permit requirements, as outlined in their Care & Maintenance Plan.  

 

HD Mining will manage the site under this care and maintenance arrangement until the recommencement of Construction activities.
