Environmental Assessments
The Murray Project required both a provincial and a federal environmental assessment. HD Mining submitted its application for an Environmental Assessment Certificate (EAC Application) / Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to the BC Environmental Assessment Office (BE EAO) and Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (CEAA) in December 2014.

HD Mining received the following federal assessments (titles are clickable links):
under the 2002 Environmental Assessment Act on October 1, 2015.
under the 2012 Canadian Environmental Assessment Act by the CEAA on December 13, 2017.
Certificate Extension
The EAC #M15-03 was amended on March 23, 2018, and the expiry date was extended to October 1, 2025 on July 14, 2020
